Pastor and Community Chaplain
In Canada and Africa, David makes himself available as a community Chaplain/pastor to those with a church affiliation and those without. David has recently served the congregation of Crossroads Church, in Salmon Arm, as a part time pastor and makes himself available to others in the community.
In Kelowna, Pastor David serves as a community chaplain in long term care; to members of the Legion (and their families); to those without a faith affiliation (by referral); and, is available as a speaker to churches and community groups.
Pastoral Care for Veterans
Pastor David serves as the volunteer chaplain (padre) to the Royal Canadian Legion, Kelowna (Branch 26)-offering Pastoral care to veterans, Legion members and their families; including hospital and home visitation, celebrations, funerals and memorials. He also performs official duties as the chaplain for ceremonies and commemorations including Remembrance Day.
